Each Saturday, in the Car Park beside Cahir Castle, you’ll find the renowned Cahir Farmers’ Market.
As you can see from the accompanying photo, Cahir Farmers’ Market runs from 9am to 1pm each Saturday beside the Castle. The only exception to this is the Christmas Farmer’s market, which is usually held in the Square, right outside the door of the Lazy Bean Café.
In any case, the Castle Car Park is only about 100m from the Café, so this is the ideal place to come to following a browse around Cahir Farmers’ Market. As the market is held in the Castle Car Park, which is quite large, there is never a problem with parking.
At Cahir Farmers’ Market you’ll find all kinds of fresh produce, baked goods, fruit & vegetables, free range and organic produce and a whole host more. As well as that you can be assured that everything you pay goes directly to the person who produced the goods – cutting out all the middlemen that would otherwise be involved.
As you can see, it is also a great place to catch up with people and have a little chat about all that is going on in the world. Why not pop over next Saturday and pay the market a visit?
Then be sure to drop over to the Lazy Bean Café for a coffee, lunch or just a little treat. We will, as always, be delighted to see you.
